Jolly Roger Skateboards in Memphis #01

We just got back from our Memphis trip yesterday morning. We would not have had such a great time if we hadn't had the support of the Trife Street Crew, Hernando Skates and Midtown Skate Shop. We were lucky enough to get in on the last public session at the Terry Bowl (before it makes its voyage over to Altown) and we had a blast at Altown with the locals! Everyone killed it! Here is a little teaser of what went down. We will have a more in depth edit coming soon.

Quick, We Need Gas Money!

We are going to start filming for our shop video and the first stop is Memphis, TN. So far, we have managed to put together a pretty good crew to set sail on this voayage: Keith Reese, Justin Smo, Woody Hayes, Brendan Kittermann, Brandon Cole and Jeremy Phengsavathdy. It will be a miracle if we can all get together, but I think we can do it. We will be leaving in a couple weeks so we figured we would have a sale before we go. Stop in and save some cash on decks, wheels, bearings, apparel and more!

Session with Entropy Skateboards at Kingshighway

Here is a video of some of what went down at Kingshighway on Friday night. Entropy Skateboard team riders where there to get a chance to skate the bridge at night. Entropys newest am and native bellevillian, Jeff Rasp killed it and Jolly Roger team rider, Woody Hayes, was on fire! It was a blast! If you don't believe me, check it out.

Kingshighway Session with Gnarner Fisher and Keith Reese

We are working on editing the footage from the "Mini-Rmp Ripathon" contest footage and the KHVT night session with Entropy Skateboards, where Woody Hays killed it. But until then you can check out the Kingshighway session we had yesterday with Jolly Roger Memphis Crew Member, Garner Fisher.

The Mini-Ramp Ripathon Ripped!

The MINI-RAMP RIPATHON was a success! We had riders from Texas, Tennessee, Missouri and all over Illinois show up to kill it! Thanks to all that showed up and to all of the last minute judges that stepped up to help out. The next contest will follow a different format and have a different judging system, as it was a bit chaotic being that it was our first contest.

•The 1st Place winner of the Beginners division spent the night before the contest in a St Louis hospital getting stitches in his head and his dad ended up with a new Jolly Roger Tattoo before they headed back home to Dallas, TX.

• An unconfirmed skater from Farmington, Mo got a compound fracture while skating on the way to the Belleville Skatepark.

• Keith Reese grew a full beard.

SPECIAL THANKS to all of the ENTROPY SKATEBOARD riders that showed up and the rest of our sponsors that donated product to help make it all possible.

Today we reached our 3 year mark of being in business as Jolly Roger Skateboards. We would like to thank our customers for helping us grow to what we have become today. Looking back, the changes we have went through to get where we are today have been pretty amazing and we could not have done it without you.

*Now get ready for our first annual Mini-Ramp Ripathon this Saturday. Entropy Skateboards will be bringing some of their team riders: Jon Comers, Mike Kelly, Collin Browning, Chris Wilkinson and our hometown hero Jeff Rasp. Until then watch this footage of Jon Comer from the Bones Brigade "Magic" video.
